Trish Isabella Hopkins is a former California writer transplanted to beautiful coastal Maine. She lives on the edge of the sea with her husband Aaron, son Niko, daughter Raven, and Dalmatians Maggie, Maxx, and Blue. The breathtaking scenery that surrounds her provides inspiration every day. Living in a place rich in heritage, culture and traditions provides perfect tapestries for her stories.
After graduating with her MFA in Creative Writing, Trish began teaching English at Community College of Vermont. She loves working with the awesome people at CCV and enjoys the enlightenment of literature.
In her spare time, Trish is studying criminal forensics with an investigation focus in the National University Master of Forensics program. She is using her knowledge to help pen crime novels with professional accuracy. The area of computer forensics is especially intriguing to her.
Trish has been writing ever since she could hold a pencil and her love of books started at age 2 when her Granny read everything to her. She loved to listen to the encyclopedia and dictionary.
The book The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett made her want to become a writer.
The book Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier made her desire to be a published writer.
Trish Hopkins has successfully honed the skill of story modeling. Through this exciting writing technique, she has published short stories in her own unique voice. You can find the American River Review anthologies at American River College. If you wish to purchase any of these fine literary books, you can contact her mentor, literary guru, Professor David Merson for information.
